  • WHAT IS BLISS

A moment spent with gleaming eyes,

Where heart and soul and earth are one,

    With nothing left to recognize,

    When everything belongs to none.

When mind and logic think no more,

When brain has lost and heart has won,

Where light does flood from doors once closed,

When laughter flows through tears that run.

When past and future have no hold,

Where all that matters has been found,

When every truth at once is told,

When all that is, is here and now.

When all your life’s an open book,

When nothing has been left unsaid,

When you can see all that you’ve took,

When you can die and rise again.

And when you stand your feeling’s gone,

And you are scared it won’t return,

And then you’re left there all alone,

And then you know your soul doth yearn.

11pm on a Sunday worth dying for

I know a lady that is a women that is

a girl that writes very brave words and

she cut her hair today and put on her armor

just like Joan of Arc did when God called her

to save France and burn on a stake like a

heretic suing for damages that did not occur

and I saw her saber her sword while mounting a

noble horse and she kicked it in the side as she

cried out for her cause and her God_ the horse

galloped underneath her and she saved France

be there no doubt it was her fresh fruit and

her virginity that saved us even though she

was not fresh and had been hooking for years

on the streets of L.A. where there are many

actors that are considered highly successful

living in big houses on the edge of a precipice

I watched her gallop away fresh and virgin and fighting

for a cause that does not want to be saved

as I pray the “Our Father” and cling to a

hope there will always be something worth

    dying for

because there needs to be something that

inspires epitaphs scratched on infinite granite

that tells us and shows us there is something

meaningful in a life that twists and

turns out of order while infinity intrigues us

in a way that is not mathematical

except for the Architects and Artists that also saw

this lady that is a women that is a girl

naked with child on wobbly legs so courageous

we call her blessed among women and

fight and kill for her and the little baby

    she protects
